Managed to speak with Jeff for a few moments. It sounded as though he was away from the office, but said that he would avail himself next week for talking to shareholders and updating them with anything he knew.
He didn't offer anything new but I assured him that Lori's shareholders were once again antsy for some results, some news, some updates. He did indicate that in Peru everything pretty much shuts down til about the 6th with seasonal holidays, that includes the labs. He thought we may be close to having some results released.
But, IMO, close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades. We've been "close" for a long time and I think it would be prudent for them to come across with something tangible for us.
Bottom line, I'm not sure if it was a sincere promise of an update for next week, or just a politician-like song and dance routine. He came across as a pleasant fellow, just the kind of guy you need in investor relations I guess. Hope we hear from him next week.
I think as Bush Boy said, management should be "called" by several concerned investors so they get the message that we want to hear more from them.
