Somebody wanted in really bad at the end of the day. Especially since there was no trading to speak of in the afternoon. Maybe it was someone waiting for the clarifying news relase and didn't want to miss the boat if the info comes out tonight or tomorrow morning before the market opens.

Afterall tomorrow is Friday...
