As I said before, we can only hope that Peru is not going to nationalize gold mines and still honour contracts with foreigh owners. If they just increase taxes on mining, it would be the lessor potential problem, and would probably be for the time being the better solution for them.

No matter what, it would be best to get these properties ready for a buyout asap, so that China or anyone else can make an offer of substance.
