Keep in mind, the opinions on this site are for the most part speculation and are not necessarily the opinions of the company WITHOUT PREJUDICE
What is missing is that when you look at your Unrealized Gain/Loss statistics for SLI compared to the last quarter, your comfort level is greatly disturbed. If you sell your shares then that becomes a realized loss. Most people on this board have a good to semi-excellent knowledge of Tesoro, given they are not in the mining business. This does not apply to countless individuals that have perhaps sold their shares that have only a rudimentary impression of Peruvian geology-recall that only about 15% of Peru has been explored, for example. It took me a long time to learn part of the physics of the Titan 24 and I have only scratched the surface. Most individuals don't have the time to do that, and only those versed in physics and geology can do it reasonably quickly.
Lori has indicated that a reasonable early estimate of the amount of gold in the explored section of the Titan will be known in September. I don't expect there will be much to hold up the share price as the weeks go on, except individuals like myself will recognize that this is a good time to pick up shares cheaply. Some that have their nose to the computer may be able to play the ups and downs-that doesn't appeal to me at all, because of the danger that just when you sell with the intention of buying back in at a lower price, an announcement comes out that blows all your plans west of Lima at hurricane force.
In the back of my mind was all the speculation and discussion that the anomaly might not contain any gold, and now we have a deep drill that already caught a tiny little section that showed 9 gms/t. If further drill results come in that are not on the periphery and show what all those geologists are looking for and expecting, then the missing unrealized gain/loss figures at present will look more realistic and your comfort level will be more peaceful.
