3. and last but not least is the sulfide bearing shear zones. We don't talk a lot about the shear zones but they could in fact host an significant amount of Gold. It's noted in the NR of March 2007 when talking about the A4 vein "In addition to gold occurring within the quartz veins, samples collected revel that GOLD ALSO occurs within the sheared granodorite foot wall of the west vein and the hanging wall of the east vein" On the foot wall grades came back 8.45g/t and on the hanging wall 3.19

I had mentioned in a post a week or so ago, about Dynacor, where a shear zone there, I believe was around 4 meters across. I am unable to pin point that post right now, so don,t exactly rely on that width. But, if it was 4m across, thats significant in adding ounces and being able to be mined, if we have that width on the Tesoro at the same elevation as Dynacors. If the entire anomaly turns out to be a mineralized shear zone in itself, with numerous veins running through it ,situated in the middle of mineralized granodiorite that may be economical, well, it would be nice.

The particular shear zone that you speak of above goes from granodiorite, to vein, to andesite dyke, to vein, to most likely the host rock again. Whats interesting in what you have found, is that there are 2 veins within an andesite dyke, with what appears to be evidence that ALL the structures mentioned in the release are mineralized. Of maybe greater interest to me is the grade of the mineralized granodiorite, over 8 g/t. We can,t really tell if that 8 g/t runs actually through the granodiorite, or if its secondary deposition and has only penetrated a little ways into the granodiorite. Either way, it will definitely add ounces somewhere down the road.
