I don't dismiss Crazy's info at all and as a general practise, I'm sure he's bang on.
Could it be possible though, in our situation, that with some of our shallow holes that we've already tapped into the ovoid at it's highest points, therefore affirming that Quantec's 3D imagery is correct (at least at the top)? At that point, it might make sense to plan perimeter drilling to test Quantec's imagery to the outside extremes.
It's been said on this board before that nobody drills from the outside inward to prove up a property, but given Quantec's high rate of accuracy with this technology, and the idea that we may have already tapped into the anomaly with our shallow holes, perhaps the geos are confident enough on what's directly below them that they just want to confirm that the images are accurate to their width as well.
Under pressure to release results, and still wanting to keep cards close to the vest, I believe they chose to release the results from those perimeter holes, and from that people are making the discouraging assumption that we have little or nothing.
Again, I don't claim to know much about drilling...mostly what I've learned from my oilfield days and from the links and info shared on the boards.
