It is beyond unrealistic to compare SLI share price to the historic share price of BRE-X. For starters, BRE-X was the largest fraud in mining history, and at this point in time we are still waiting for assay results from a 20,000m drilling program for SLI to prove how much gold is is the ground.

That being said, I compared them many months ago as I'm sure others did as well! SLI has 130 million shares outstanding while I think BRE-X had around 16 million. So their dollars per share value was over 8 times higher as they had less shares outstanding. BRE-X was reaching extreme highs on speculation and excitement, after it was exposed many are cautious with jrs and for good reason.

Also, 100 million oz for SLI is pure speculation, speculation which I would love to see materialize in the near future.
