We need our managenment team to do a Murry Braucht type promotion of our company. Watch the PRO CEO's when they address the news media and their shareholders. Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, etc. all did wonderful jobs keeping their companies growing as well as their share prices. I know we are not high tech (but our 'Quantec methods" surely are) but quite frankly I prefer to own a gold company. Don't we all?
Look. If you've done your own DD you should believe we have a huge find but we also need to know that management feels the same. My investment advisor keeps telling me that SLI's management is not being interactive and the investing public is befuddled by the so called "poor results". SLI needs a strong promotional team (we have only one that i know of...Murry) and a strong proactive executive that will explain what is going on and make the shareholders feel more secure. The average investor (especially an SLI investor) deserves that type of info in order to make a good investment decision because of the speculative nature of the business.
Sure there are restrictions as to what management can say, but classy executives know how to handle that and still promote the company to the public.
If investors feel they are in the dark or over their heads technologicly they will sell at the very next opportunity IMO. As you have seen...... they did. They will do it again if they feel there is no gold in them there hills. Our management team should not let them feel that way. Sorry, but I feel this needs to be said. JW
