Quite a large settlement. I heard on BNN that there were other unnamed banks involved and it is unclear if these banks will be named.Didn,t quite catch it, but thought it said some connection out of New York could be named yet. Barclays is the worlds third largest bank and these rates set on the LIBOR determine how much interest the muppets have to pay on mortages,etc. It was interesting to see that on May 17 that the head of the remuneration committee and the board was not against this years bonus, then today Mr Diamond and a couple others ,forego their bonuses.
