"Mr H, for me, its not hard to tell what aspect of the market you are affiliated with. You always come out in support of the big guys in the markets and the unethical games they play. You always direct your questioning to my posts or a couple other of the prominant posters here, that you try to disguise as a balancing act in the discussion, feeding off what we post."
Mr. Sculpin, I am a retail investor like you and everyone else on this board. I have no affiliations with financial institutions or the like. I do not support the "big guys" like you say. Like most people on this board, I work at a job I dream of escaping and I have a stock portfolio that has looked better.
Yes, I do question your posts at times, and yes, it is intended to add balance, because your posts are often one-sided and you're not always tolerant of dissenting opinions. At times I try to offer another viewpoint that I would argue is as valid as yours. It's a discussion board, after all. I think it's healthy to discuss.
By you talking about playing the "game", suggests that you are ok with it. Don,t you see anything wrong with stock price manipulation that is illegal?
Playing the game inherently means you are okay the rules. If you don't think the rules are fair, you're not obligated to play. Of course it's wrong when others disregard the rules and play illegally. But how is that any different than life? When others lie cheat and steal to get ahead at your expense, you learn by experience how not to let them. We tell our children not to talk to strangers because we know there is a dangerous element out there. People still have children knowing the risks because they want the reward. That doesn’t mean they are “okay” with predators. It simply means they are willing to play the game as it is.
