I found this company that also has several gold prospects in Peru.Their geology is different but I wanted to look at how long it took them to get a resource estimate.
So apparently, they drilled 26 holes starting in Oct 2008, 8700m in total drilled, and had a 43-101 compliant inferred resource of 1.3 million ounces of gold by May 2009. Their resource was 8.9 million tonnes at an average grade of 4.5 g/t, in an area defined as ~ 400m x 900 m x 350m deep. They plan to underground mine this at an expected cost of $436 per ounce.

So, my main point here is, that you can have a resource estimate pretty quick and with little drilling. For us , we have had a lot of trenching done (a full year of it?), we have 3 drill collars that complimented 5 holes each, 1 collar in the A-4 area, with 2 collars on the south part of Zona Canchete. I expect these to be fan holes that the depth intercepts can be correlated with surface and Quantec, delivering a picture of dot connecting. So, I wouldnt doubt she has enough data to do an etimate for the Zona Canchete, and possibly enough for the A-4 area or even connect it to the Zona Canchete, which would be excellent.
Also, something interesting I found on this companies website about another property of theirs. Notice how they say "indicating" and what they are refferring to? More proof of geophysics? Our anomalies have a sulphide signature written on them and it looks as though this company believes theirs is as well. Then notice how they say "The target is", no denying it for them. I am guessing that Lori has some great news to come in the future.
"The target is a large porphyry gold or gold/copper deposit. An extensive alteration zone, measuring approximately 3.5km by 1.2km, is associated with an Induced Polarization chargeability/resistivity anomaly indicating the presence of extensive disseminated sulphide mineralization."
