Keep in mind, the opinions on this site are for the most part speculation and are not necessarily the opinions of the company WITHOUT PREJUDICE
Here are samples taken from Paul Grays Technical Report that verified historical samples plus more. These are the highest I see there,
C-1 60 meter level 124 g/t /33 g/t = 3.75 ozs/t
C-1 80 meter level 184.65 g/t/ 33 g/t = 5.59 ozs/t
C-1 40 meter level 181.93 g/t/ 33 g/t = 5.51 ozs/t
Here is a select grab sample taken from the stock pile outside the mine from the 40 - 60 meter level of the C-1 vein.
57.6 g/t / 33 g/t = 1.74 ozs/t
I will make a quick note on the above. It appears by looking at the tech report samples, that a lot of mill grade ore is sitting on the Tesoro. We went down to 100 meters in that shaft, is it possible that all that ore is just sitting there at surface, tons and tons of it? If so, there could be millions of dollars of ore stock piled there.
A quick look at some rough numbers would give you approx 5 tons of material per every meter of shafting.
40 m level = 80m long x 5 ton per meter = 400 tonnes
60 m level= 120m long x 5 ton per meter= 600 tonnes
80 m level = 50m long x 5 tons per meter = 250 tonnes
100m level = 40 m long x 5 tons per meter = 200 tonnes
total for drifts only= 1450 tonnes of material at 1 oz per ton would give you 1450 ounces of gold worth $2.32 million .
There are 3 stopes taken out below the 40 m level that would average at least 10 meters square giving you another 120 tonnes. It says on SLI website that 451 tonnes was shipped so far from the C-1 vein. So, 1670 tonnes minus 451 tonnes leaves 1219 tonnes of development material on the property from the C-1 vein, if it averaged 1 oz per ton then that will give us 1219 ozs at $1100 net per ounce= $1.34 million. There is also material from the A-4 and C-2 vein, as well as the C-3 that can be added on here, so theres a chance a couple million dollars worth of stock piles are setting there. None of this may be right at all, but its all we have to go on and is just meant to show that we COULD have this much moneys worth of gold laying around on surface.

Now, back at the samples, sorry I got sidetracked there for a bit, that was very interesting for me.
A-4 40 meter level 231.12 g/t/ 33 g/t = 7 ounces per ton
A-4 40 meter level 197.31 g/t/ 33 g/t = 5.97 ounces per tonne
Mikx, there seems to me there is a sample in a news release thats around 681 g/t or 20 ounces or so per ton out of the A-4 vein. There is also a 4 tonne sample taken from the A-4 vein that averaged 11 ounces per tonne or around 360 g/t gold.
Just fooling around with some numbers, don,t rely on their accuracy, as they could be severly over inflated or severly conservative.
