Keep in mind, the opinions on this site are for the most part speculation and are not necessarily the opinions of the company WITHOUT PREJUDICE
"Management sitting on material information or known results and continuing trading would be illegal. They know nothing more than we do at this point. Trust only the evidence before you. Or, go on blind faith. But don't criticize others for having a healthy dose of pessimism."
CDN,
With all due respect, I don't think it's fair to condemn anyones blind faith and endorse a healthy dose of pessimism, when you use absolute blind faith in your statement that management wouldn't do anything illegal, simply becuase it's illegal plus not using a healthy dose of pessimism in regards to management.
I think you'll find historically...that to patently rule out illegal activity in a publicly traded company on the Venture Exchange based simply on the arguement that it's illegal is foolish at best...and that remaining eyes wide open to the POSSIBILITY of illegal activity or that your best interests ARE NOT being fully considered by the company you're invested in is always the prudent course of action.
Furthermore in regards to SLI...considering that Management has been proven to be less than honest with it's shareholders and that the NR's relating to drill results are missing critical supporting information...if there is a healthy dose of pessimism to be placed I would certainly not rule out the negative side of human nature especially when greed, power and ego are at play... history would certainly support me on that notion too.
