If you look at the wording of the disclaimer that seems to accompany all SLI news releases, how can one really assume that the news releases are factual? This line from the disclaimer; " Actual results may differ materially from those currently anticipated in such statement" allows for a drastic change at a later date and may also imply that the results given in the release are not actual, when you look at the words "actual results may differ". What kind of a disclaimer is this, when it can change at any time? How can investment decisions be made on a news release when it may say that the news release could be unreliable? Kind of absurd, don,t you think? This also seems to take away protection from shareholders and may not be in thier best interests from a stand point that if these releases cannot be relied on, then we are unable to make reasonable investing decisions. A fact should be a fact, not something that has a disclaimer that enables a fact to be changed at a later date to a different fact.

IMO, this disclaimer does not take accountability away from the author of the news releases, nor does it take away accountability for the Exchange by letting this happen. What it may imply, that no one wants to be held accountable or responsible, and that by passing the buck, shareholders are not protected which then in turn enters the integrity issue with the markets, our judicial system, and civil rights.
