By using our own analogy of getting 3-5 % sulphides in the C-1 vein at the 100m level and comparing this with the quantec signature, I would say it possible to have maybe as high as 6 or 7% sulphides in the anomaly. And I would say this is not unreasonable to expect this because of some of the samples taken during the June 2010 tech report. The most notable of these being CSD 1595. This sample was taken from the 10m level of the C-1 vein, although not clear because of the sampling table missing relevant info in places, in which it shows a copper sample of over 10,000 g/t or 4.24% copper. This is a HUGE high grade copper sample when you look at one of the 10 largest copper mines in the world has an average grade of their deposit at just over 1%. And even more amazing and in addition, there is a gold grade accompanying that sample of 100.57 ppms or roughly just over 3 ounces gold per ton. This sample is not just some anomaly or freak, there are other lower grade samples found on the property to show a consistency of the copper/gold relation. The tear drop shape of some of the smaller anomalies, and part of the big one, suggest copper/gold porphyry and the sulphide content of samples reinforces this. Add this all together, and we could be sitting on one of the richest deposits the world has ever seen.
To further this, another sample taken from the C-1 vein, sample # 314814, from the 80m level, has a copper grade of 1.09%, which is still a huge percentage when you entertain the idea that in some deposits 0.13% copper is economical depending on grade of by products. And also, in addition to that sample of 1.09% CU/ copper, there is a gold grade of around 3 ounces per ton gold again! I also have some other historic info from the property which shows considerable copper grades in the southern regions of the property as well, as well as on top of the southern end of the original "ovoid", or just to the south a bit, although the corresponding gold grades are lower there, the couple copper grades were between .3-.8 %, which is economical. The .8 % copper sample coming from the A-4 vein.
And to not see copper tested for in the drill results, seems a little slack.
Also, John Brophy owns a property a few km,s to the N of the Tesoro that is a copper porphyry prospect, with 3 soil samples in access of 5000ppm,s or .5% copper.
Here is a link to the info about the 10 largest copper mines in the world.
Enjoy!
Take note of the mention of Candentes property in this link, it adjoins our Cueva Blanca!
