Keep in mind, the opinions on this site are for the most part speculation and are not necessarily the opinions of the company WITHOUT PREJUDICE
"READ THE NEWS RELEASES " SLI IS GOVERNED BY REGULATORY BODIES AND LAW , NOT LIKE THESE CHAT LINES"" -- SLI
You are absolutely correct that SLI is governed by the regulatory bodies and law. What I hope you realize is that those governing laws extend beyond just what is posted within news releases.
Here are a few examples of acts that are also governed by those regulatory bodies and laws...
- Timely and accurate disclosure of ALL material information
- Public disclosure of inaccurate or false information
- Fiduciary duties of Management and it's Board of directors
- Acts benefitting managemnt and/or the Board of Directors contrary to the best interests of the company
- Using exagerrated statements when discussing material information
- Disseminating information privately
- etc. etc. etc.
My point is that there is so much more that the laws and regulatory bodies govern beyond news releases...and it's unfortunately not good enough to follow only the ones that suit you.
