Keep in mind, the opinions on this site are for the most part speculation and are not necessarily the opinions of the company WITHOUT PREJUDICE
I would say that if Lori and the current BOD were to stay in power of SLI, the company is as good as gone. We have one chance here, and that is to fight, stay together and continue on our present course not faltering to any of the crap she is dishing out.
This excerpt from todays release;
“After careful review, we have adopted a two-part strategy to advance our Tesoro project over 18 to 24 months,” said Lori McClenahan, President and CEO of St. Elias Mines. “In order to carry out the strategy we will need additional capital. We are focused on completing our financing and hope to do so during early 2013, if market conditions permit.”
In light of all the turmoil and disgruntlement current management has caused in its lifeline, the shareholders, how does she really expect to raise cash? Its totally observe and vain for her to think she will be able to raise money for SLI when she couldn,t close the Havilah deal, only raised less than 10% of a proposed IGD PP (where most likely only management took up that small portion, and if Lori had any money of her own left, you would think she would have been buying SLI shares, not selling them) and showed her total disrespect for existing shareholders by proposing a PP that would dilute them by approx 85% in one smash, ridiculous! What investor or institution, or anyone for that matter, would give her money after this recent total disregard for shareholders?
Further more, the C-1 area could have been proven up really easy by a fraction of the money spent on the last drilling program, this may speak of total incompetence and inexperience on managements part to not prove up the known to establish a resource estimate for at least a portion of the property.
The whole NR is not with reality IMO and I am not gonna waste my time pointing out to management the ridiculous proposals they make in this release. Its disgusting and vain to every aspect and they really believe they can continue this fruitless sharade. One thing is very clear though, it seems they wish to keep working on a property that recent drill results would suggest that nothing economical is there. How will you get investors to invest in a property that has little? LOL, oh wait! Maybe this ongoing trenching since Oct has found something huge all of a sudden? Lori, do you really think that investors are stupid?
