Keep in mind, the opinions on this site are for the most part speculation and are not necessarily the opinions of the company WITHOUT PREJUDICE
Madam Chair,
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to speak. I just have a few things I would like to address.
First of all, I am a shareholder, although not registered, I do partially own this company and have every right to attend the AGM. I find it rather odd that you only used the metal detector on the people that were allowed to enter the meeting room, because the angry people were the ones sitting out in the foyer. I realize that you claim someone called you and threatened to bring a knive, but why were you strutting in and out among us potential killers while your bodyguard was reading the newspaper in the corner. Anyways, those are just formalities I guess...now on to business.
In the past, you have been the Chair person at the AGM, but I am curious how you can hold Chair during a proxy battle. I must be unaware of the laws regarding this, but it is disturbing to know that you have the final say of who wins, since you were one of the contenders. Or will you have final say?
I realize that you were acting in our best interest when you rejected the Green proxies because you were concerned the votes were cast by uninformed and mislead shareholders. I am not sure that this is correct though, for you did your best in the past month to keep us well informed.
On Dec. 3rd, 17th, 19th, 20th, and 21st you put out news releases warning us of the perils of voting for the dissidents.
You put extra care and attention to bring up the allegations towards James Rainbird, although it didn't seem to bother you when he was with Intigold. The Green circular covered this matter, and gave access to the shareholders to investigate further if so desired. In the end, none of that mattered because he was disallowed as a director beforehand, so I'm thinking this was a moot point.
Mr. Rutherglens education at Harvard University is indeed a fact, but even if it weren't true, I would be hard pressed to think that it would change my vote.
Even though I have nothing but confidence that the Green nominees would do an exceptional job at heading this company, I think you shouldn't look at the 62,376,558 votes being for them....you should look at the votes as being against you.
One last question, Madam Chair. Can you please disclose to us how many actual "White" votes there were?
Thank you for your time.
