The little guy always loses...or so they say.
But, only if the little guys aren't smart enough to band together to form a powerful team.
We have such a team and I feel we will win...but only if....and that's a big if, all our shareholders smarten up and support our team. You should all know, the mostly self-funded team, has taken on the big guys for us and asked for just a little support from each of us. Let me correct that...I and a few others have been asking you to support our Green Team.
Put yourselves in the position the Green Team is in. They provided us with the opportunity (at a cost I’m guessing of about $50k initially) to vote our shares for a change (91% voted for change I've heard). That vote financed with the help of just a few dissidents (the number of dissidentsregulated by the rules I guess).
Then the shocker came at the AGM...all of the votes were thrown out. Just what choice did our team have but to try to save our votes! You have to think they had hoped that a large influx of cash would come in after the Green Team was allowed to accept the money for their legal expenses in the case. But low and behold I've only seen money trickle in. Look at the posts...very few are giving from what I can see unless people are not posting about the support they are giving? What is the sense of that when all we need is to be assured that the rest of our team (the shareholders) is with us in this legal fight...Post what you give please! Make us all feel like we are one.
Back to the Green Team's position from my perspective: So they moved forward slowly (it seemed to me) and obviously the legal fees had to be building up. By this time my attorney estimated they probably spent about another $50K. And then the crap hit the fan and the Green was in court for five days straight (or so I've heard). What a whopper of a legal bill they had to incur (another $200K or so?). Do any of you actually think they wanted to spend all that money...without the assurance or financial support they had hoped for from our shareholders? Give me a break...they would have to be insane if they thought they could do it alone. The last blow came when they found out they needed $90K (info I took from their news release) to save our properties and they could not accept our money for that! Come on everyone… save our team and our company...turn this situation around by everyone giving their support for the legal fees and posting it for us all to see! Let's show the world what the shareholders of SLI are made of once and for all!
Let’s not let the little guys or the little ladies lose this time around.
Congratulations to those who have helped support this effort up to this point...without your help I feel the Green would have had to throw in the towel long ago. You are truly our heroes, appreciated by myself as well as the Green Team I’m sure.
I’m going to back off from trying to knock some sense into the laggards (1000 of shareholders?) but I will post what I think the totals are that are given weekly or daily, if it‘s that good, as taken from your posts. I’ll also post the bad just to be fair. Please don’t let the little guys (us) go without money!
We will have one heck of a celebration when you win this with the Green Team!
Go Green Team! Go shareholders! All IMO, JW
