Keep in mind, the opinions on this site are for the most part speculation and are not necessarily the opinions of the company WITHOUT PREJUDICE
I was doing some digging looking for something else. What I was looking for was an old release, perhaps around 2005 that I think stated a new corridor had been found on the Tesoro, in which seemed to be in the same area where in 2010 SLI claimed the Quantec had found the North Corridor as a result of geophysics. I did find this bit that mayhaps pertains to what I was looking for and perhaps suggests that there are 3 corridors which may be
1)the MAIN TREND which holds the Zona Canchete, Central,Sur and Incognito,
The Main Tesoro Structural Corridor (approximately 400 metres wide and 7 kilometres long) hosts the four significant identified mineralized zones on the Property: Zona Canchete (C-1and C-2 Veins); Zona Central (A-4 vein); Zona Incognito (I-3 Vein); and Zona Sur. To date, all the development and the bulk of exploration on the Tesoro Gold Property has been focused within this corridor, with only limited surficial sampling outside of this zone.
2) A TREND 1000M from and parallel to the main trend which holds Zona Este and 3 other unnamed zones, and
Stockwatch news dated Sept. 8, 2004
Four additional zones (concentration of gold mineralization and historic workings) have also
been identified. These occur in a northwest trending pattern, approximately 1,000m northeast of
and running parallel to the Main Vein.
3) the North Corridor approx 2000m from the main trend which holds the Zona Este and Zona Incognito as well
The North Corridor (also approximately 7 kilometres long) lies approximately 2 kilometres northeast of, and is parallel to, the Main Corridor. The North Corridor is defined by a series of coincident geophysical/remote sensing lineaments, by numerous pits excavated in the past by “informale” miners and by two previously identified mineralized zones (Zona Este and the I-3 Vein at Zona Incognito.)
The Company will immediately initiate a surface exploration program consisting of detailed mapping and surface sampling to define the mineral potential of the North Corridor in advance of a systematic trenching program.

So above, you see what appears as 3 mineralized corridors on the Tesoro and a proposed sampling program in 2010 of the North Corridor BEFORE TRENCHING. There has been NO results released of that sampling program of the North Corridor other than the one about the newly found N Vein which assayed 2.5 ounces of gold across an 18 inch channel sample ,I believe that is the correct width, to my knowledge.
The importance of this post is that it is showing wide spread gold mineralization on the Tesoro in perhaps 3 corridors, not just the 1 corridor that got and has everyone excited. Further to this post and to follow is another extremely important post. The purpose of this post and the next, is to show Lori why we may be considered "conspiracy theorists" (in her words) and in our defence. We have no choice but to believe the news releases prior to 2010 and all scientific and factual data presented up til that time, because it is consistent. What in the hell are we supposed to believe when drill results do not coincide with historical data and scientific data from the property? I also ask for Lori to retract that degrading statement made of shareholders on this board, to inform you, Ms McLennahan, these shareholders are amongst the best informed shareholders of any traded company, with resources connecting many personally to the mining, geology and geophysical world of these industries, among many others. SLI investors are not dumb and we should not be treated as that, show some respect.
"According to internet conspiracy theorists who appear aligned with the dissidents, St. Elias has fraudulently hidden a giant gold discovery at Tesoro. It is only possible to jump to such an absurd conclusion if the critic doesn’t have any knowledge of how value is created in mineral exploration."
