Keep in mind, the opinions on this site are for the most part speculation and are not necessarily the opinions of the company WITHOUT PREJUDICE
Perhaps this is the post that frightened you so?
I finally got a little time to look into this crowdfunding, thanks to my fellow shareholders for keeping the wolves at bay.
I posted a couple start up items of info below. The Add Team Members one is very interesting and perhaps other Agoracom forums may wish to join an effort. I have seen different posters on various forums over the years here have complaints go to the regulators, with no satisfaction. I believe Agoracom Admin as well has complaints about the regulators. I would like to get a count of how many retail investors, and other interests on this Agoracom site would be interested in starting a campaign to raise funds to help stand up for the rights of all. Also perhaps a ruling about the content allowed on this Agoracom forum by a judge could be part of this campaign. I feel some posters are reserved in what and how they say things here now, and are not really exercising freedom of speech in a defensive or protective manner because of fear of getting sued. A ruling by a Judge in perhaps Ontario on this matter, would definitely put posters at ease to know if they really have full freedom of speech, or a limited amount of speech in regards to revealing questionable things about their investment, which then is not really considered freedom.
Of course it is my opinion, but I believe our recent decision should not have even went to court, the shareholders voice with rights attached, should have been respected and heard. I know there are other Venture investors that have been on Agoracom for years, and after what happened to us, may feel that their rights would be at risk and would want to help to effect change that would secure any voting power they may wish to exercise in the future. The scary realization may be, where it was shown that 91% of voters of one stock was thrown away on a technicality, other company Executives was watching these proceedings, and now they may have learned new tricks to use against shareholders in the future to retain control over them and perhaps even take advantage of them. Perhaps a precident was set with this decision, but not one favourable to shareholders?
We may be able to do something with this, thoughts?
