Regarding the subject of shareholders having a say in the choice of directors mikxx1 said:
Ok technically speaking then
That brings up a good subject. Technically what is going on?
What do shareholders have a say in? When Murry was unceremoniously fired, for no reasons given, he was not released as a Director because he legally couldn't be. Directors need to be voted in or out. However Lori appointed Bastien and MacDonald as directors last year. So am I correct in assuming that once elected they can't be fired but only replaced through the election process? As President of the BOD can Lori appoint directors until such time that there is an AGM and an election can be held? Is there any opportunity for shareholders to demand a by-election to replace vacant director positions?
