The simple reply to this is that she could have very well justified her spending then or in the preceding future. As we can plainly see now, she never justified it, nor did an audit committee. So, the BOD has had ample time to redeem themselves.

I openly state, that my opinion given back then was substantiated by available facts and speculation at that time. As time progressed, with speculation of an offer coming upon "one hole", disappeared, leaving us with the most reasonable presumption, that spending was intentional and not connected to any futuristic scenarios.
