Keep in mind, the opinions on this site are for the most part speculation and are not necessarily the opinions of the company WITHOUT PREJUDICE
In general terms...there is the asset value and then there is the company value. The company shows its value by extracting the most gain from it's assets. This is true across every for-profit business across every industry.
It's amazing that there was every reason to believe that based on historical findings (assuming they are to be beieved) and the things told to the shareholders through NR's and Presentations (assuming they are to be beieved) that SLI had excellent asset value and potential.
Now we are at .03 and there is question of value when the assets in large part remaiin the same...historical findings do not change and almost nothing significant has been publicly announced over years other than the initial partial drill results of a partially completed drill program.
This only speaks to one thing...cast conspiracies and regulator inaction aside, you are left with managerial incompetence at a level rarely seen in the professional world.
I have no idea what Lori has gained or stands to gain from this mess she created for shareholders...but one thing is for certain...it must be an incredibly sad existence being known for nothing but being an abject failure.
When Lori was asked at what point in her career did she realize she made it...and her answer was "now"...I think she may have misunderstood the question...or maybe she truly believes that by printing up business cards at Kinkos that read CEO...really makes you a CEO.
Maybe when she gets a little older and grows up she will understand that business judges you on what you do.... not what you pretend to be.
