Yes, I know what the word vetted means. I knew what it meant and have for many years, which precedes your copying of its dictionary definition; thank you. It's good that you're learning something!
What more do I want? Slowly read and think about my earlier post. You'll find the answers you seek.
I've got a nifty resume and I've spent a career working with people of all stripes who have a nifty resume too. Clothes don't make the man or woman and a nifty resume doesn't either. Those things might get you through the door and can sometimes impress the gullible if he/she is impressed with trappings.
What counts after you've gotten through the door is whether you can deliver the goods and how well you get it done.
Senior VP, General Manager, so what? Have they been properly vetted for a Board position in this company? What proof is there that demonstrates each is more valuable to this company than just being a perfunctory figurehead? This company is in trouble and the share price is sadly what it is. As the guy in the movie screamed, "SHOW ME THE MONEY!"
Read what I posted earlier and think before you post. Glamour, a title, that's not vetting. Trust and verify chum!
