Keep in mind, the opinions on this site are for the most part speculation and are not necessarily the opinions of the company WITHOUT PREJUDICE
The method of geophysics that SLI employed is a mine finding technique. This type of geophysics is prudently not employed on narrow vein systems, unless there is evidence of wide mineralized structure/s. The simple reason being, because of the cost and associated dipole spacing, that clearly misses veins of approximately less than 5 meters in width, that would render this minefinding technique useless for the Tesoro. So, where it was employed, and because all historical data justifies its use, it clearly shows that veins are only but a small portion of the actual mineralization, and that veins may widen very significantly at depth. In other words, if there were only mineralized veins on the property, you would not even pick them up with the way this geophysics was executed on the Tesoro. And to execute in such a way as it was, clearly shows the mineralization was so strong that it had to be fine tuned impressively to accurately identify the strongest targets. So again, impossible for these targets to be drilled and the company suggesting that they don,t know whats responsible for these signatures, when in fact all the historical data clearly shows that it is the sulphide content, and this is complimented well by Lori,s remark that Kevin Killan, from Quantec, said the readings are similar to the Red Lake readings, one of the highest grade gold mines in the world. The quick and easy, the sulphides accompany gold on the property, with gold content rising in conjunction with sulphide content rising, the anomalies apparently contain a high degree of sulphide, to give off the signatures they do.
These anomalies are ore bodies, nothing less. They clearly depict large bulk tonnage deposit/s of some sort of mineralization. But the tests of the Quantec, show that the mineralization is sulphide content. However, I don,t believe that a mere 1 g/t gold content should be assigned to the anomalies, where historical evidence suggests a much higher grade overall that sees non quartz vein mineralization having average grades above 1 g/t in some cases, portraying a huge bonus mineralization, over and above the quartz vein compliment.
So either the Quantec images are doctored or the truth is being concealed. I dont believe the Quantec images have been doctored, because they are consistent to all local geology, including great gold numbers from other mines and the known fact that there are many copper mines in the area as well.
