I'm going to step out of the box on this one and respond to a post on SH by Primed.
P24:Your continued ignorance of the social climate in Peru is baffling. Peru is a dangerous place, especially for outside mining companies.
I have searched several mining companies, Barricks included, and have found nothing showing that they have been protected by the US army. The only police or army influence is that of the Peruvian government when there are protests from the locals.
It seems odd that a little exploration company like SLI would need such assistance?
P24: As for your US army comment, if Lori stated it that way she was a bit over zealous I would say but you interpreting the words and actions of one man, a war hero, as being the entire US army is absolutely asenine.
My post was not an "interpretation"......it was verbatim! Should you take the time to listen to it, you would know that!
P24:You can easily find your answer as to why SLI needs protection in Peru if you simply do a google search.
Don't you worry your pretty little head Primed...I have done many google searches and you would be very surprised at what I have come up with.
