I think that one of the more important aspects of the SLI story that we all overlooked is just how much corruption really exists in Peru. Corruption exists at all levels in the country...

One of the more interesting pieces of information that came to light was when Major Drilling bought out Bradley Brothers in September, 2011. The funny thing is that Major did not buy Bradley Brothers Peruvian operations due to their past experiences with the corruption problem.
