Is that a fact Sculpin?

If indeed a bonanza core was discovered, as which we know it could be easily identified in the field, then that core would have to be removed from the rest of the core samples. But it would not suffice to just dispose of it, but to keep it for later reference when indeed one does want to mine the property!

The above scenario is not that far fetched as I believe that I have come across this scam before. In that case, the short version is, a hedge fund paid to have drilling done on an operating mine site, but chose to keep the results to themselves and the operator of the mine soon went bust!

The folks that I talked to, I did infact visit the mine site, felt that the drillers found something because after the initial drilling, they returned with larger ones and continued the drill program.
