I can see this product used effectively as a secondary containment system. I am not convinced that they are adequate storage for frac fluids....being open to the environment like that. As a rule consultants and frac companies are fastidious about the integrity of the product. I am going to ask some of my consultant friends what their opinion is.....better idea of the scope of utilization this product may have.....

The other thing that would limit their use in the oilfield is the possibility of sour oil returns coming back. Sour oil has to be in a sealed/properly vented tank.....

I think they will have some applications for sure.....especially as a secondary containment system. I am not convinced that they will take over the oilfield.
