Keep in mind, the opinions on this site are for the most part speculation and are not necessarily the opinions of the company WITHOUT PREJUDICE
Real, your post;
{Sculpin, as much as I feel disgusted about this and understand your feeling, I think it should be in the "off topic".
Anyway, I appreciate you having some very stong feeling about people being ripped off, may I say, more so as of late, since we all have a feeling of an attempt to being ripped off by our management.
Have a good day

I agree 500%, my post of which you speak, should have been in off topic. Did you ask yourself why Sculpin would put this on the main board where it doesn,t have a thing to do with SLI?If so, what was your conclusion/answer to your own question?
I will go back a bit in time so you can get a better picture and it may help you see why I did this.
As you know, we have constantly fought bashers on this board and us hub leaders tried to keep it civil and tried to keep the discussions fruitful and free of the disruption intent which accompanies bashers. We were quite successful and ran a civil board, although a few would disagree, and no matter what, you will always have that in this world, so that is expected. We worked with Agoracom, as did they with us and were able to run a well functioning board keeping the malicious attempts to a mininum. The more bashers that came here infiltrating the board with multiple aliases, the more disruption that was caused, led to Agoracom taking a slightly different neutral approach, which made it harder for us hub leaders to keep a civil control to the board. As a result, Hog left this forum because he recognized that by Agoracom not standing behind us hub leaders and all the proof that we supplied Agoracom of blatant basher tactics, that this forum was most likely heading for destruction or like now, very little participation by shareholders. Kemo also left or at least doesn,t post anymore, and I believe his thoughts and reasons were similar to Hogs. BOW and I stayed and tried to maintain the board and the maintenance became a little harder with less hands to help. Everything could have been ok here if Agoracom would have only took a position on either helping us to keep the board free of bashers and disruption, or even shutting the board down if they did not want to help. But everytime we had problems it seemed that Agoracom was reluctant to help us with the bashers, it took countless correspondance with them to get anything done, but I will say, finally they agreed with us and took appropriate action to rid the malicious intent, after constant persistence from us.
That takes us to about 1 month ago, when JJJ, a member here that has not made one post ever, starts flaggin almost every post as a violation, mainly mine. He had flagged over a dozen maybe close to 20 in one day, when we had a day of a few more posts here. If you noticed the Top posts at the top of this forum, he had flagged all of those, so its very easy to see his intent. His flagging of posts as violations has seen the majority of posts put on this forum daily, flagged by him . Anyone below hub leader status cannot see the "manage violation" board, if you guys could, you would see an unbelievable sight of JJJ having the majority of posts here over the last month as violations. Let me tell you, its a sickening sight to see many posts flagged as violations, which the majority would say they are not, yet he continuously does it.
I have been conversing with Agoracom on this topic for about a month, yet they will not ban this JJJ. They leave him here to continue his incorrectly flagging posts, and Agoracom has been lately looking at the posts he has flagged and are processing the most of them as ignores, instead of just banning the poster and stop this disruption. There was a time a few weeks ago that some of our regulars here had many posts that should have been off topic or violations. I did not flag these posts because I would not stab my fellow shareholders in the back, while a basher was allowed to continue to disrupt the board. That is not right. So you can take the post of mine about the life insurances as a statement or protest I am making, rather than the superficial appearance of it.
Most of us muppets in the gold and resource stocks have taken miserable hits on our holdings and we should not have to contend this way with bashers or posters of blatant ill attempt. This is a time to remain strong and keep Agoracom a reputable site by Agoracom living up to their statement, then we will live up to ours, in which we tried so hard to do in the past. I am sorry for disrupting this board with my off topic message, but maybe now it can be looked at from a different perspective. Thank you, Sculpin.
Here is a look at Agoracoms statement/message to members here posted under the "About Us" tab under the home page.
AGORA – translatable as marketplace, was an essential part of Athens in ancient Greece and acted as a marketplace and a forum to its citizens.
AGORACOM is the Web 2.0 online marketplace and forum for citizens of the small-cap investment community. Public companies, shareholders and prospective shareholders amalgamate for the purposes of communicating in a monitored and secure environment free of bashing, hyping, spam and profanity that have plagued other small-cap communities for far too long.
More than just lipservice, we now provide exclusive small-cap content to the following Tier-1 partners:
Through the use of dedicated communities, blogging, webcasting, podcasting and other Web 2.0 tools, AGORACOM fills the information void created by the lack of small-cap coverage in the financial media. In addition, through strict enforcement of our 6 Rules Of Use, we eliminate stock promotion techniques such as spam, hyping and bashing whose sole purpose is to manipulate share prices.
To accomplish this, we had to create a different business model that did not depend on advertising and, therefore, did not sacrifice quality of information for quantity of information. No bickering, profanity, flaming, spam, etc. This has been the very downfall of every small-cap community that came before us.
As such, AGORACOM derives more than 95% of revenues from public companies that engage us via annual contracts to utilize our superior Web 2.0 community and communications tools. We declare every client via press release and clearly label ourselves as their “official online IR firm” throughout the site.
We believe in small entrepreneurs and small investors. We serve them by widely disseminating great information and then providing current and prospective investors with unsurpassed management access to conduct the best due diligence possible, leading to the most informed investment decision possible.
A Web 2.0 marketplace, forum and community for small-cap citizens. AGORACOM
The ancient Greeks would have been proud.
