Hi Old Joe,

I first want to state that I to am only well read but in no way do I want  to portray to anybody that I am all knowing. A little knowledge can be a dangerous thing as they say. That is why I typically post articles, audios, etc. from people who have much more knowledge than I. I am just a Sr Buyer of commodities for an international manufacturing firm, thus, I have a vested interest in short term and long term trends.

I was not involved in any way shape or form in the 1980 gold run.  Too young! I have no doubt that your thoughts on the liquidity issues many gold bugs fell victim to back then is real. History proves that correct. My thought here though going forward is that the run (bull market) on gold/silver going forward from here will be a generation bull market (that includes most all commodities). Meaning investors of gold will have more time to divest of their gold this time around.

Allow me to applaud your civilized and mature manner in which you debate such topics. Much appreciated sir!
