The response you received from Jim V is within reason. Every once in a while these guys get a new inspiration based on conversation(s) with others (either in the RoF Exploration Camp or with Consultants and Experts in various Geologically related Fields) and in doing Basic Review and Preparation for up coming Exploration Programs.
I would speculate that this Re-Examination of the Mc Fauld's West Cores is due to conversation with who ever is/was preparing the work with rerspect to the Mc Fauld's East Line Cutting and Ground Geophysical Program UC is now getting underway. That, along with BoD research/consulting with many in the Industry(s) (be it Exploration, Production, Consumption, and Science/Research) given the Current Global STATE of ALL Affairs. This after the messy set back over the past eight years which are likely to be known in the future as not only the lost, waisted, counter Progressive Years but will be commonly described as the Civil/Social and Ecologically Destructive years rivaling and far exceeding ALL of the the European "DARK AGES" centuries combined.
Given the Re-Engineering occuring in the Steel Industry readying themselves for the next 20 years of Steel Production (in the New Green Economy which is now underway in earnest - note comments made by most Global Political Leaders who are now so eager to distinguish and distance themselvs from the past eight years) and the current new Nickel Ore capacity coming on stream, it seems to be a case of "Looking Forward" for the Major Mining Companies and consequently the word is trickeling down to the Explorers that Chrome/Chromite will be one of the Big "GO TO" Minerals in the now developing New Green Economy.
As for UC Resources, this will be the second time they are to be looking to Core Data previously overlooked. Recall the Mc Fauld's East Drill cores Re-Examined once Noront Resources announced the inclusion of Platinum and Palladium in their Assays for Eagle1.
One thing is for sure. Given the basic Geophysicals on the area completed by Government Contract several years ago, along with the Many New Aerial and Ground Geophysicals completed and STUDIED since Eagle1's Landing, coupled with the vast (quantity and geographically) Hard Rock Drill Core Data now available to Geologically Model the Intrusion Event(s), Re-Evaluation of Theories on What likely will be Located Where is well underway among the Geological/Geophysical/Geochemical Academics.
And the net effect will be ever increasing Drilling Success with EVERY DOLLAR Spent. UC Resources will benefit by ALL RoF effort to date. Just get in there and ADD to the HARD ROCK Mineralization DATA POOL!
Otherwise, Is the Mexican Tractor back to work now, UC Resources, or has it already finished it's assigned Task(s)?
