Good morning Jim: An excellent post on one type of recovery. I used a jig right after the mill output for the coarse recovery, then off to the Cyanide tanks. The solution was then mixed with the Zinc for further recovery via activated charcoal.
Yes, a Dore' bar is the first casting of the recovered metals. It requires further work for the nice 900 fine bars seen in pictures. It is also reccommended for sending out from remote areas - more likely to reach it's original destination. hmmmm
The Yesca is a nice set up. I would have enjoyed seeing it but unfortunately Canadians are not gentlemen. At our meeting in Hermosillo you sat around in shorts drinking ice cold beer while I, and my pore wife, were actually shivering with the ocld, It must have been down to 15 C. AND not one Canadian offered a coat or shawl ?? Just a cold beer?? Could I have trusted you?
Incidentally, for those that wish to know , only Hoov had the intelligence to wear suspenders in warm country, he is easily id'd in the pictures.. However, otherwise I loved you guys, not one snob among the lot , if you exclude me.
Frankly, I am looking forward to our next meeting, but I will take along coats this time.
