Granted, it is summer in Mexico. I'll admit to not having been there ever during this season. However, these mines are less than 100 miles to Puerto Vallarta, which isn't too shabby a place to be for an adventuresome company president! I mean, all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy!
Just think of it! Hobbling down through the mountains on a burro (in the old days) down through the Sierra Madre's Occidental Range -- the La Yesca site, is still on the Pacific incline, probably around 4500 feet. Yes, I'll bet it's pretty oppressive right now, the jungle with little ring tailed monkeys and lots of snakes -- just where I wanted to go when I was a kid.
This is probably the kind of place that was trying to be portrayed in the Humphrey Bogart movie, "The Treasure of the Sierra Madre". Maybe it's easy for me to envy a man like Mr. Voisin because I have adventured my way through life to a point where his forays into these mountains are inaccessible to me. The old, "greener pastures", thinking.
I am willing to reminisce and even invest, from my little spot here, safely out of harms way. I raise my carrot juice glass and truly wish him and his company well! Now is the time to buy!
