I am pretty sure the funds were available and the earn in money was raised and should now be spent. Old Joe possibly quite correct suggesting payment was asked for in shares.
I do wonder tho' if consideration has been given to spinning out the ROF holdings to existing shareholders and keeping Mexico and other assets separate from ROF.
I know this involves some serious expense, however I hold two other very small exploreco's where this was done, Firestone Ventures and Strongbow. They spun off Northern Tiger and North Arrow.
It seems that the 500 pound gorilla in the ROF, Cliffs, would no doubt be interested to pick up the JV, and I would hate to see Mexico get lost in any takeover. I originally bought in to UC back in Hamelin era, bout four years ago, mostly for the idea of the tailings financing the work in ROF and the other Mexico properties.
Would this idea surface some value to the stock or am I off my noodle on this thought?
