From: Gary Monaghan – CEO – UC Resources
First of all, yes I have been a director of UC since 2005 and know the history and heritage of the company quite well. Thanks to those who wished me well in this CEO role. For clarification, Jim Voisin, our President & Chief Operating Officer, remains a vital component to UC Resources success and this decision was made to augment and empower Jim to be able to focus on areas that require his focus, expertise and experience.
I have looked at the UC Resources website and remember when it was built, who built it and who currently hosts it. Yes, the Website needs a total refresh and this project will be completed sometime over this fall – winter. I have a very large background in marketing which includes Video production, Website design and so forth. I have in past roles through my consulting company provided these services to public companies to improve their image. Email me directly and I will provide samples.
We are also looking at an overall IR plan including personnel and what events we will choose to attend this upcoming year.
For now however, priorities are to maximize our potential at McFaulds, and to get the most out of our mill at La Yesca.
The two last drill holes are in for assay and we are encouraged by the visual report provided by our QP on the drill project, – M.J. (Moe) Lavigne, P. Geo. From these assays we will determine next steps for drilling and project focus.
La Yesca, has been a challenge to get consistent results from the mill, but we are focusing on the project planning necessary to get consistent results to maximize our return from these tailings. There are other properties in close proximity - Xora – which we anticipate the ability to leverage into operation from our La Yesca profits. We have not forgotten about our Copalquin properties and its potential and as reported we have won the court case. Our Mexican council is now working through an appeal by the opposition and trust that this operation will move ahead.
On September 16th, UC Resources will be presenting at the CABN – Canada Asian Business Network round table investor conference discussion being held in Richmond, BC. Following that Jim Voisin and I will be traveling to the La Yesca site to review.
There are a number of other developments in the works with the company which can not at this time be disclosed.
I am accessible to investors, I will respond to all credible requests within the disclosure restraints we work within as a public company – the best way to reach me is through email at monaghan@ucresources.net
