evening Lately my friend:Two hot coffee coming up. nah, I wasn't referring to UC in any way, and I have full and complete faith in precious metals. In fact I am staking my future on them - another "Go for Broke" situation.
I was bringing up the illusion that our currency was rising in puchasing power simply by comparison and usng as single word, when it is actually the other way around.
I.E. Always read all public statements with a strong touch of scepticism, especially from the government...
Actually the Loony is one of the strongest, yet how many Loonys does it take in today's to equal say a 1940 loony?
The Us dollar has lost 80 % of it's purchasing power since the 40's. In fact I was earning $21 a month then, a cold Coca Cola was 5 cents, now? he hehe
Gold and silver ??? and here UC has a working mine producing mucho Plata & ORO, and schedualing upgrading to produce much more.
How secure an investment can you ask for?
Incidentally $2 dollar bills were infamous for a certain type of transaction.
Personally, I will take precious metal any time over paper.
