Message: old mines XORA...

There used to be a very interesting map on the older website...that showed the location of old mines. Also mentioned in some of the old NR's.

I believe on the current xora/lacolorada there are 6 old mines (now seven.. I guess) and 16 mineral occurences...at least my recollection...I stand to be corrected.

Also on the neighbouring property(not owned ny UC) there are another 12 -14..one of which is the old mine where the LaYesca tailings came from...again my recollection.

If someone had the interest could probably find this stuff on SEdar...old filings and details on Uc resources/ LaYesca etc....maps etc etc...it was on old website..I thought I saved it but couldn't find it

The point is this area has a large number of old mines...now that we have a mill ..this all becomes very interesting. I think the current tailings as mentioned above on this website of 2.0 g/t gold and 220 g/t silver are in effect probably one half that level because of processing and recovery issues and inconsistencies of the grades within the tailings...new ore (without the recovery issues) at say 300/400 g/t silver would increase mill profits dramatically..JMHO...Hoov or someone with better knowledge could probably explain this better.

As the old saying goes where there is "smoke (old mines)..there is fire (chance for gold)"..and it is all within close proximity to our mill. It will all take time to unfold..which is why UC is not a stock play but a longer term hold.JMO
