Berta...so then are you a bit of a sleuth in this study of old mine records to uncover potential finds that might otherwise be forgotten....ie like propspecting in the history of what might be out there from old mexican records. Sounds like it could be addictive...many an old ship that went down in the high seas ..loaded with gold/silver was later found by examining old shipping records...ie in some cases going back to the 1500's when the Spainards I believe stole most of the gold and shipped it back to spain.

I gather from prior comments that Jim also has dug into some of these recrods. It would be fascinating to hear more from you or Jim about this...I guess the key question is has it provided any advantage or benefit to "UC" or for that matter anyone you know about.... that has in fact lead to a significant find or uncovered a new mine. I wonder if this new buried mine we are onto would be in the mexican records?
