shaka truck has alluded to the drilling program so i copied the above from the july 30 news release.

i hope they have found some noteworthy areas and the drilling should/could/might commence, as stated late august. i think 2 days ago was as late in august as one could legally be so let's assume drilling will commence soon.

the news release stated that a few holes were 20 meters deep so it looks as if drilling will go much deeper. my math is not great but 1000 (where in the world is the division sign?) somethinged by 6 is deeper than 20 so i'm looking for some real efforts by uc to find veins of plata and in fact drill where the veins are visible.

i am not sure if the assays are worked on in mejico or sent to canada. it was probably in another release which i failed to read. so i'm not sure how long assays take.

one would hope that after a successful drilling program(they can look at the cores), uc would state that the drilling has been successfully completed(not giving anything away) and would announce that the cores would be sent for analysis and returned in a stated amount of time.

i am in this to make $$$. i have always taken a positive outlook in my belief in uc even when the price went south. with proper results and knowledge that jim/gary/gerardo/uc have many claims to explore, i believe with my glass half full attitude that uc will rise dramatically over a good period of time(as yet to be determined by my half full glass or for that matter the OO).

the next few months will be critical for uc. there was plata there 100 years ago and since no one has mined it since that time, there still be plata by my reconning.

in recognotion of a successful drilling program i will be changing my daughter's cats' names from lucy/abigail, to luc/abe, to max/jake to plata/oro. it was a long journey for their identity!!

on a different note, 40 years ago today, the little lady and i got hitched. how could she have known that that date in '72 would be the opening game of the russia/canada series and that most of the men, except yours truly, (that's why it's now 40) were at the bar drinking and watching the game. 'best wedding they ever attended', was the answer from any guy present.

for those not aware of that series, russia is a northern country.......
