Good morning GB. I am having my morning coffee. I suggest that you join me there,

As for Mexico, since the 1930's, this has been the longest period of peace in it's history.

When I started exploring the remote regions in the 50's, the effects were still evident in the abandoned mines, remote regions, the attitude of the few people in the scattered ranches or small towns. and the lawlessness in there. You were your own law.

I found many abandoned mines, ranches, crumbling missions etc. However it was not the time for the revival of mining.

At one time I was part owner in the LLuvia de Oro, but lost it when my partners let it go for taxes. It is now producing some thousands of oz of AU a year. Also the same for the Palmarejo mine near Chinapas.

Today we have a strong resurgence of the lawlessness and an exploding population.

It is rapidly becoming a far different Mexico and I am beginning to feel out of place, and out of time..

If I can figure how to post a picture with my set up, I will post the Mining office' picture of the Yesca area, it is a large complex of many, many, overlapping claims. Jim did wonders in squeezing in there, especially with the better properties - so it is all over Mexico.
