When I looked up UC on Canadian Insider I found that Consolidated Internation Investment Holdings Inc had been sell with a Disposition pursuant to a take-over bid, merger or acquisistion. I asked a source that I trust who eplained to me that,

"The entity once known as Mineralfields (Consolidated is one of the corporations in Mineralfields), which did a significant amount of financing for junior explorers, is being sold. Some of the stock has been taken up by a company called Marquest, and some is being sold in the open market. Because the number of shares transferred to Marquest is less than 10% of the issued and outstanding share structure (warrants don't count), there will be no public disclosure of the new owner of those shares. Marquest didn't take all that Consolidated owned, and those surplus shares are being sold into the market." I hope this sheds some light on the recent selling, it makes sense to me. Everyone will of course have to reach their own conclusions.
