MY EMAIL TO GARY - Will the Sunvault system be compatible with the new CFE distribution system or is it supposed to be stand alone. Will CFE be the main power supply until Sunvault is proven and then Sunvault be the main power supply or is it to be a backup - extra power as needed system? GARY'S RESPONSE. - It can be both a main supply and or a backup. Our plan is to utilize the system as much as possible as it will reduce costs.Yes it is compatible,we can still stay on as a customer of CFE,should some pieces of the solar power system go down(Ihave learned to trust that nothing is perfect). As the technology develops over the next 18 months the key is that it will shift from solar light - direct sunlight - to ambient light.Meaning the technology will create power and store for 96 hours,as long as there is daylight. If there is a day without daylight we will have other issues to deal with.So to further answer the question, initially until the technology moves from sunlight to ambient light we will use a combination of grid and solar, then after we reach ambient it will be 98% Sunvault.
