In response to the above topic: I have a regular TD regular trading account where I used to do all of my trades, and still hold a few stocks there, ($29.95 minimum) but I found that Questrade was far cheaper, only $9.95 per trade or $4.95 for small lots. But the ECN fees they may charge if your order is filled immediately can be anywhere from .001 cents to .037 cents per share, which is not a big deal, but one that a person should consider.

It takes a lot of paper work to get started with Questrade, though, but I still find it is very easy to navagate the site, although definitely not as user friendly as TD, as a person has to got to several different sites to get the necessary information. JMO
