Message: Bioagra's Agrastim® FDA certified for human consumption?
Z, I am fairly familiar with approval processes for other types of products (mainly safety-related), and perhaps that's why I look at things like this with from a different perspective. The document on the website appears to be something official from Lowenkamp Labs, yet in the documentation, it states that Bioagra LLC is the certifying party. That, to me, is confusing. And, because Lowenkamp labs actually has a financial stake in the success of the product, I believe the certification may seem tied a little too convenient. (If Lowenkamp lamps is the certifying authority, why does the document state that Bioagra LLC certifies the product?) I believe others would find it more credible if Bioagra would submit their product to an independent test laboratory. I also believe that an independent lab would take into consideration the product and the manufacturing/process. Their approval would be based on an objective, unbiased evaluation of the product and the manufacturing facility. I believe it is inappropriate to suggest that product may be consumed by humans without actual FDA approval. Jeff
