Ron,

I agree about your vendors and samples, etc.  However, my point was that since AHD distributes only to customers who are themselves wholesalers, it would be highly unlikely that an unknown inquirer, who is not a wholesale vender, would get much more than the time of day from AHD.

I would expect AHD has been marketing and handing out samples to their established wholesale customers, but I would doubt they have any motivation at all to tell the general public anything about their business.  In fact, I would actually expect they would probably take the position of protecting the security of their customer list, rather than telling the whole world their business secrets.

I will use Tagstar (our 51% partner in Exypnotech) as an example.  Good luck getting Tagstar to tell you anything about what they are doing, or who their customers are.  They guard it very closely.  There are a few places where Tagstar has been promoted by Phillips, Texas Instruments or Infineon , but only as a re-seller of their chips.

I was only able to identify one of Tagstar's customers because of what I consider "dumb luck".  I opened up a tag and found Tagstar's name inside.  That led me to the final seller, and allowed me to know something that neither Tagstar nor their customer had disclosed to the public.  Heck, I couldn't even get confirmation with the evidence right in my hand.  LOL

I would look for a similar approach from AHD.  I doubt AHD's customers want their competition to have any clue what they are doing.  Therefore I would expect AHD to fly under the radar with their marketing.

JMHO.
