On Day 14, all birds were orally inoculated with a mixed coccidial inoculums containing approximately 25,000 oocysts of E. acervulina per bird and 5,000 oocysts of E. maxima per bird. Starting on Day 19, all birds, except the control group, were given a broth culture of C. perfringens 108 cfu/ml. The birds were administered a fresh broth culture once daily for 2 days (on Days 19 and 20). -zties
