PMB,
I find myself giving you a "thumbs up" on yet another civil, even thoughtful post.
You said, "I still maintain that there is nothing accomplished but hope to change my tune some day soon."
I understand exactly what you are saying, and the temptation is strong to view success as either all or nothing. Using that scale, you get no arguement from me.
However, there is not much in life that is either all or nothing, with the exception of a few things like binary numbers and simple light switches.
I think we are on a continuum.....more like a "dimmer" light switch being moved from the "off" position and slowly increasing the brightness of the light. In early stages, some people will still see the light as "off", while others see it as "on" but by no means "bright". Some incurable optimists, like me, see the transition from total darkness to a warm glow, and get all excited at the promise of basking in brilliant light.
I see the successful test results, the continuing receptiveness of major markets, increasing public awareness of antibiotic related risks, increasing feed costs and the test participation of major industry players, as moving the switch ever closer to a position that even the "glass half empty" folks will recognize as "on".
In the old days of NCS, we heard a lot of discussion about being "in talks" with the likes of Infinion, Phillips or Motorola, but were unable to ever obtain confirmation. Some investors were justifiably skeptical.
Today, we have press releases announcing published test results associated with recognizable industry names, or University research centers. The claims can be independently verified.
As I talk to BIOAGRA's marketing people, it seems that the test results are speaking for themselves. There is recognition that the product works, and that more and more potential customers realize the need for such a product and are wanting to check it out.
I, of course, see all this, and am even more optimictic than even a few months ago. The recent test information was extremely encouraging, not only because of the oustanding performance of the product, but also because the company that provided the birds was the largest turkey producer in the US. The biggest industry names are checking us out, and the test results are compelling.
Broiler, turkey and duck producers, dairy herdsmen and pig farmers are testing our product and confirming results. A little more product goes out the door and the following month it increases even more, as more animals are fed. I don't expect a sudden flipping of the switch from "off" to "on". I expect press releases of additional test results with outstanding product performance. I expect test samples to grow into orders of 100 or 200 kilos of product. I expect repeat orders to grow incrementally by 50-100% and that 200 kilo orders will become 400 kilo orders and then 800 kilo orders.
I understand thinking all is darkness, and "nothing is accomplished". However, I believe more has been accomplished that is currently realized, and hope the time is near when you will doze off, only to awaken and recognize that the light is "on".
Best regards,
-zties
