Focusing on the Dallol Potash Project in Ethiopia
Marc,
Thanks for your comments. I agree the word "If" is why the potash juniors are where they are today.... There are a lot of "If's" in Saskatchewan looking for 3-4 billion in order to get out the gate...
I believe the initial testing of the water is possitive hence Farhad's comments on 100 cubic meters / min of water flow with few dissolved solids. Unless someone flushes the toilet up stream I don't see this changing, but it's a requirement for the funding.
IMO ICL will know the results before the testing is official and will be looking to make a move on the options IMO before the deadline. I personally can't see ICL walking away as Allana is a front runner for development and would IMO find a partner who would take the production as the OPEX is one of the lowest in the industry based on the BFS.
Unless something comes out of left field I just don't see any issues, but rather further value in the SOP development.
The big question will be timing on the finaincing and I believe it will be in Q1 2015 at this point unless something else developes.
In the mean time we have SOP PEA results, the plant FEED study etc. that should provide some insight to the mine development and possibly some support or share appreciation ??
As we get closer we should see some support... Perhaps it is already happening as Allana is back up 3.7%... The question is should Allana be this low ??? Right now the traders are having fun. My opinion...
